Bugs

After an entire week of rain, the wonderful sun shined down on us! I was sorely tempted to take them outside to play, but after Wednesday’s muddy wet experience, and the fact that $2.5o for a load of laundy adds up quickly, we opted for some other creative activities.

It is amazing how long one package of stickers can entertain two toddlers. They had so much fun sticking bugs on themselves, and teasing each other. I was delighted that Bella actually let a bug touch her! I attempted very poorly to teach them that God created the bugs too, but it went right over their heads, maybe next time. On a side note it took a long time for me to convince them that we needed to take ALL of the bugs off before their nap. I can picture Caleb wanting to eat the bugs as a bedtime snack! And I am sure that I am going to find our little ladybug friends all over the house for days!
