Today we took the long way to the zoo.
Thanks to mapquest.
Took us nearly two hours to get to a 35 minute destination.
Caleb wasn’t happy. He wanted the zoo and to see the monkeys.
Michael wasn’t happy -he hates the zoo. He hates traffic. And he hates bad directions.
Thanks Mapquest- because of your bad directions we will never go to the zoo again.
I wasn’t happy either. I love the zoo.
Bella was pretty sad. Michael told her that we were going to let her live with the monkeys. She began to cry before he could say he was joking.
When we got to the zoo we couldn’t find a parking spot. And then we couldn’t find the entrance. Eventually found a sign that says the zoo closes in one hour.
It was fun. For the one hour we were there.
This also brings back lots of frustrating memories…
That’s so sad! I must ask — Como or MN? Whenever we’ve gone to the Como Zoo, for some reason, we always seem to end up getting there right before close.
Come to the MN zoo with us sometime on a slow weekday! There are brown signs leading the way. My offer stands!
