Not better. Not worse…
Looking a little bit like a polka dot baby:
( if you look closely you can see the bullseye targets)
The Dr. said that there is nothing to be done with EM at this stage. What did I tell you!!! As long as it isn’t weeping pus, and blistering he is ok. Well aside from the fact that he is high on benedryl, bouncing off the walls like he is taking steriods, and still itching like a monkey, he is ok. Just a little bit scary looking. The fun part happens in a day or two when he begins to turn blue and purple. Oh the joy of Caleb’s beautiful skin!
Just after these pictures the rash spread onto his face. I am a bit worried it will go into his mouth, making his EM very dangerous, and good reason for an ER visit. Please pray for him!
I have to stop googling. It gets me into trouble. Thanks to google I now know all the bad, and all the REALLY bad information there is about this strange condition. I am thankful that Caleb has only experienced a little bit of the bad so far!
His outbreak will just have to run it’s course. We can handle two or three weeks right? Somehow the chicken pox sounds like more fun!

Goodness Cari…not a fun thing to deal with…I can imagine how uncomfortable it must be for little Caleb…about the google thing, it´s so true…the other day I was “sure” Emily had meningitis, especially after googling it and seeing all the symptoms that were similar…so I took her into the ER and the doctor said it was just a sore throat, but I HAD to check to make sure I did everything I could for her!
I am so sorry Cari! I am definately praying!! Keep us posted. Take care of yourself in the midst of this too!
Let me do your googling for you!
