Not in my House

In My house we rarely feed our kids sugar. Chocolate is forbidden!

At least that is what I want to think! But we NEVER let the kids eat on the couch, especially not with Chocolate Doughnuts of all things…

Not in my house! And of course if they were to be eating chocolate doughnuts on the couch they wouldn’t be wearing bright white shirts either!

It has been a long couple of days. So far only one throw up incident to report. Pretty good I would think. My pregnancies with Bella and Caleb had me hugging the toilet atleast 5 x a day. So I am very thankful I am not repeating the past.  But the nausea that is heavy in my chest …oh yuck. Sleep is my only temporary relief!

Even though the Christmas Season is a distraction, I can’t help but feel guilty for not doing more with the kids. Baking cookies, doing crafts, wrapping gifts etc. Thanks to a wonderful friend and neighbour, I was able to clean my house in peace this morning. Allowing me to carve some precious time with the kids when they returned home.

We had alot of fun, especially when I painted the bottoms of their feet to make the reindeer! They were giggling and squealing loudly in protest. So cute! As of tonight Michael has 5 days off to be home with us! We are all so excited. I believe we are going to make and decorate cookies tonight! Can’t wait!

Merry Christmas to you All!

We had a chocolate cake incident too when I had nausea. Don’t tell me your reindeer pictures were your idea. Too creative! You will be back in the saddle next Christmas.
