Let’s Talk…

Caleb’s favorite thing to do these days is talk – more specifically- “Let’s Talk Cars.”

He wants to get to the point. Matter and Lightening McQueen are his favorites, and Mama’s is Lizzie, but Lizzie is his car and he will only share with boys. Mama is not a boy. She is a girl. Then we move on to other things- or rather he moves on, leaving me longing for more baby boy conversation, and he goes in search for dinosaurs, or Daddy to wrestle with.

This post will be all about points. Simply because I am too tired for an indepth post- but there are some thoughts that I want to just get out there, such as:

  • I am 22 weeks pregnant, and AM STILL throwing up. I am losing my patience, and my bladder control.  I have lost track of how many times I have wet my pants this pregnancy. You can laugh- it is kind of funny.

  • I just finished Ted Dekker’s second novel , Red, in the circle trilogy and loved it just as much as the first novel Black. I am conspiring ways to get my hands on the third novel.

  • Caleb has a nasty red rash on his bum from the cheap diapers here. I should have known better and just bought Pampers. It breaks my heart to see him in so much pain. Hopefully soon he will be potty trained.

  • I love Michael. No really I love him. I look at him just amazed that he loves me. I can’t get enough of him for so many reasons…

  • Bella’s dress up phase is really sweet. Everyday she is equipped with a dress, pretty shoes, a purse, and bows in her hair…now if I can just get her to wash the boogers off of her face without prompting. She is adorable.

  • I am tired. More tired than I remember with Bella’s and Caleb’s pregnancies.

  • Michael and I have been hatching a mercy ministry idea. I am so excited about the prospect but am keeping it quiet until we know for sure if it can happen.

  • Caleb told me this week that I was pretty …awww….

  • Michael and I went out on a date last night and I was surprised at the PDA in the cafe. WOW!

  • I love my mother in law’s laugh – filled with so much joy – so much like my daughter’s laugh.

  • So much unknown in our future, I am rather enjoying this phase of life. Trusting God, now that is an idea!

  • Almost vomited today in the grocery store smelling all of the food. Reminded me so much of Paraguay. I think I will avoid the grocery store for the next little while. On a up note I made Michelle’s famous guac today and it was delicious. Made me miss Michelle though…

  • I need to work on a better schedule for my kids and me. The mornings seem busy and fly by, but the afternoons lag on leaving tons of time for mischeif.

  • WordPress doesn’t like me, and my facebook switched to portuguese. Kind of annoying.
