I've been here in that place of wanting to share, but afraid of the vulnerability...and sometimes even the inability to know how to write what I'm walking through, the wrestling happening deep inside....I cannot wait for you to get here... we can talk, and pray and process....I know at least in part perhaps where you are coming from though I don't know all the story. But I can't wait to sit and listen if you're willing to share, and let me love on you and pray for you and with you!

I thought for sure you wouldn't go today because of the weather so hey, you got that going for you! running is just like that sometimes, some days are harder than others. Cold weather can have a burning effect on the lungs when you aren't used to it but it does get better. Still proud of you and need to tell you more running spots in the area!

i'm enjoying reading about your journey, cari. i am trying to be a healthier mum too... although i haven't got anywhere near the running... i do lots of walking to try and make up for it!
just a thought on the dizzy aspect. i don't know what you have/had for breakfast but something with protein would probably be helpful. if you're like me and breakfast isn't your favourite meal, a shake can be nice. i tend to use a banana, a can of preserved fruit, greek yoghurt and a small spoonful of shelled hemp seeds blended up (a bit of ice is nice if you like it cold, which i do). i think you're on to the right idea for becoming more and more who you know you can be!

Here I am again! I get excited about new runners. :) you probably need to up the amount of water you are drinking by about a billion percent. I am guessing you aren't a huge water drinker. Could be wrong. When you are starving and don't wanna overdo it grab a bag of baby carrots and don't stop til you are full! :) works for me anyways! I still eat meals but when you probably shouldn't eat anymore but are still hungry, it helps. Also, the humidity here makes it a bit harder. Some days are hardto run simply because of that! You are doing great and before you know it, it will be a breeze, no death wishes!

Hey good job! You did it! I know the hills are steep but they are short! Feel free to walk up them. I don't know whet this thing is you are listening to. I can't have anything in my ears when I run. It bothers me, plus I like the nature and take time to pray. It sounds like it helps you though! As for the weekend, my personal preference is to wake up, throw the run clothes on and go before eating, coffee ir showering. Then I get home and shower, enjoy the coffee and still have the whole day ahead, plus u don't have to thinkabout fitting it in. Also, and this is the best part. No kids allowed. Ever. :) it is so much easier to jog not pushing the thing! Great job girl!

Yay you!! You can do it...if I can do it, you can too. I was in the exact same place less then a year ago. I had gotten to the point where I just didn't even care. I knew I was unhealthy, and every time I made an unhealthy choice I excused it saying, "I've gone this long what's one more day?!". But I've slowly turned that boat around. You will be amazed at how much better you will feel in the hugely difficult feat of telling yourself "no", and moving more. Love you girl! When you come, we will find a nice level path, and we will walk/run together if you want!! You can do this!! I know you can!
